MATERIAL SELECTION
The insulation jackets consist of a robust core with insulating materials such as mineral wool and glass fibre, and are sewn with high-temperature thread for maximum durability.

Depending on the conditions in which the jackets are used – for example indoors, outdoors, in humid environments or where cleaning is required – we select surface materials such as silicone or PTFE/Teflon. Both materials are resistant to chemicals, dirt and wear, ensuring high functionality and long service life.

In more demanding environments, the jackets can be reinforced with steel inserts. This is recommended where there is a risk of mechanical wear or a need for extra protection. The steel insert can be placed on one or both sides and combined with silicone or PTFE to prevent the penetration of oil or other liquids.

The jackets can also be manufactured in materials approved for contact with food or for use in high-temperature environments, where we use silica. The choice of materials and construction is always based on ensuring a durable solution with a long service life.

USER-FRIENDLY FASTENING
For easy and efficient handling in daily operations, STEFFCA’s insulation jackets are designed with practical fastening systems. The jackets are closed using either velcro or springs, depending on the installation and temperature conditions. The velcro fastening is also available in a high-temperature version, ensuring reliable performance even in demanding environments.

Regardless of the solution, the jackets can be removed and reinstalled without the use of tools, making service and maintenance faster and more efficient for technical personnel.
