APPLICATION
The insulation jackets are easy to remove during service and maintenance and can be taken off without the use of tools. The velcro and metal springs are easily released, providing quick access to the engines, and the insulation can be easily reinstalled afterwards.

COMPLIANT WITH HOTSPOT REPORT REQUIREMENTS
IMO’s new requirements mean that all ships must prepare a hotspot report to identify surfaces with temperatures above 230°C. These areas must be insulated to minimise fire risk and ensure better working conditions on board.

Based on the measurements in the report, STEFFCA designs a customised insulation solution that brings installations into compliance with the requirements. We supply and install fire-retardant insulation jackets that reduce surface temperatures and ensure proper shielding.
