ACID-CARE W2643-ALD Fibreglass Cloth
BENEFITS
The fibreglass cloth W2643-ALD is treated with a special silicone coating to indicate alkali spills (bases). The purple silicone coating will change from purple to brown upon alkali (bases) contact.
With strong bases, the colour change will occur quickly (about 5 minutes), while weaker bases will take longer (typically hours).
Testing the fibreglass cloth with the specific base before use is essential to ensure it occurs within an acceptable timeframe.
