BENFITS
PILOT PACK is designed for tank and hatch sealing and is used on ships worldwide. PILOT PACK consists of a hollow elastomer core braided with Polypropylene and finished with a layer of PTFE tape.
This design provides resistance and ensures excellent recovery after compression, when the lid of the tank is opened and closed regularly. The outer PTFE tape provides a complete sealing of liquids and chemicals.
Pilot Pack is approved by the US Coast Guard for use with propylene oxide and butylene oxide (1,2 - Epoxybutane).
