Rubber-Steel
gaskets

BENEFITS

STEFFCA’s rubber-steel gaskets consist of an EPDM or NBR elastomer part and a steel core. The rubber part is firmly vulcanized to the core of steel in order to add stability to the gasket.

The ring in the core of the gasket ensures the
absorption of good surface pressure and supports the centering of the gasket in the flange.

Rubber-steel gaskets are used in flange systems to seal water, wastewater, gas, air, acids, and alkaline solutions.

The EPDM versions are approved according to the following tests: KTW-BWGL, EN 16421, EN 12873-1, and EN 1420. And can, therefore, be installed in
drinking water applications.

The NBR versions are approved for use in the gas sector and meet the requirements of DVGW
certification test DIN EN 682.
