MATERIAL SELECTION BY ENVIRONMENT
The insulation jackets consist of a robust core with insulating materials such as mineral wool and glass fabric, and are sewn with high-temperature thread to ensure maximum durability.

Depending on the conditions in which the jackets are used—for example indoors, outdoors, in humid areas, or where regular cleaning is required—we select outer materials such as silicone or PTFE/Teflon. Both materials are resistant to chemicals, dirt, and wear, ensuring high functionality and durability in daily operation.

In more demanding environments, the jackets can be reinforced with steel inserts. This is recommended where there is a risk of mechanical wear or a need for additional protection. The steel insert can be placed on one or both sides and combined with silicone or PTFE to prevent the ingress of oil or other liquids.

The jackets can also be manufactured using materials approved for food contact or for use in high-temperature environments, where silica is applied. The choice of materials and construction is always made with a focus on ensuring that the insulation jacket is robust and has a long service life.

USER-FRIENDLY FASTENING
For easy and efficient daily handling, STEFFCA’s insulation jackets are designed with practical fastening systems. The jackets are closed using either Velcro or spring fastenings, depending on what best suits the installation and temperature conditions. The Velcro fastening is also available in a high-temperature version, ensuring reliable operation even in demanding environments.

Regardless of the solution, the jackets can be removed and refitted without the use of tools, making service and maintenance faster, easier, and more ergonomic for technical personnel.
