A new and modern factory
Our new factory is twice the size of the previous one and, with its 6,000 square metres, gives us room to support our growth strategy. The new facilities allow for better production flow and shorter internal transport routes, and now, our raw materials are no longer split between our warehouse, containers, and the neighbour. It also means we can achieve far more efficient use of our machines, and our colleagues can enjoy optimal working conditions.
The production zones have been optimised from the ground up, enabling us to work smarter, scale faster, and meet our customers’ needs with even greater flexibility – all without compromising our high quality.
Improved logistics solutions
With the new factory, we’ve focused on significantly improving our logistics setup. Goods receipt and dispatch are now gathered in one place and designed with a natural flow that makes handling materials and finished goods faster and easier. This frees up time and resources and allows us to scale capacity as demand increases. It also gives our colleagues more space, better visibility, and modern facilities that support an optimal working environment.
Focus on an optimal work environment
Creating a better everyday experience for our colleagues has been a key priority. The new building offers more natural light, better acoustics, and significantly improved indoor climate. The physical layout is more open and clearer, and we’ve prioritised generous space around workstations to ensure better ergonomics and less noise.
The work environment has also been a key consideration in our office areas. We’ve created a balanced design with private offices and open-plan workspaces, allowing deep focus, collaboration, and flexible workflows. The layout is designed with daylight, air quality and calmness to ensure the best conditions for thriving on a busy workday.
Ready for the future
The new factory is a key part of our growth strategy and forms a strong foundation for the STEFFCA team's continued journey. With more space, we can invest in new technology and future automation, optimising processes, increasing capacity, and strengthening our competitiveness. At the same time, we’ll continue to deliver the high service level, strong quality and fast delivery times we’re known for.
Planning the move
Relocating an entire company takes large-scale planning. Our storage materials and equipment alone fill around 100 trucks – and that doesn’t even include our cutting machines, presses and other equipment.
That’s why we need to shut down our production and warehouse from 15 to 20 May (both days inclusive) to ensure a smooth transition for our customers. Our fantastic colleagues are working over the weekend to make everything come together as seamlessly as possible.
You can still reach us, as our office will remain open throughout the move.
We look forward to starting in our brand-new surroundings on 21 May.
